Arnaldo Cohen, one of Brazil's finest pianists, began his international career by winning the 1972 Busoni Competition. Since then he toured the world, hailed by critics as "a model of balance and Imagination", praising his "burnished, unforced bronze-like sound, in the Rachmaninoff manner" (Harold Schonberg), "one of the greatest pianists I have ever heard" (Yehudi Menuhin).
