Lou Blackburn is an intriguing figure in the jazz scene. The west-coast trombonist recorded only two albums before disappearing to Europe, and then into obscurity! This album is highly rated with solid performances of some great material with fellow Los Angeles musicians. Too bad there aren't more recordings available!
