Canadian flautist, saxophonist and composer Anna Webber is a creative epicenter of the New York jazz scene. At the intersection of avant-garde jazz and new classical music, her work is celebrated as "visionary and captivating". Her previous albums have regularly ranked at the top of the relevant best lists. In her new band Shimmer Wince, Webber brings together the most innovative voices on the American jazz scene with Adam O'Farrill, Mariel Roberts, Elias Stemeseder and Lesley Mok. Together they explore the system of pure tuning, in which the major and minor triads contain only pure fifths and pure thirds.
