For their album "Monteverdi Memories" with multifaceted works of the famous Renaissance composer, the Capella de la Torre under Katharina Bäuml receives the OPUS Klassik 2023 for the "Choral Work Recording of the Year". For the award ceremony in October, another album with music from the award-winning Monteverdi album will be released: "Monteverdi - Memories" is a combination of Monteverdi's music with the reading of fictional letters by Monteverdi. These letters from Monteverdi to contemporaries of his were written by the German author Peter Schneider ("Lenz", "Der Mauerspringer", "Rebellion und Wahn") and give a vivid picture of the life of one of the most important composers. These letters are read by the famous actor Joachim Król.
