The Slovakian concert organist studied for many years with Jean Guillou (1930 - 2019) and performed his complete organ works in several concerts at the Saint-Eustache church in Paris a few years ago. The 5-manual instrument there was conceived by Jean Guillou in the late 1980s and built by the firm Van den Heuvel (NL) in 1989. Fortunately, we were able to make the recordings for this double SACD (stereo and 5.1 surround) on precisely this spectacular instrument. In addition to Jean Guillou's own symphonic poems, Zuzana Ferjencíková has also recorded here all the transcriptions of works by Franz Liszt that Guillou made. His arrangement of Liszt's "Tasso" is available as a world premiere recording.  Price: $47.98 |
