Mathias and Manu share a longstanding collaboration with the label, and their respective unique instrumental signatures come through especially strongly in this program consisting entirely of original compositions. The partnership between the bassist and the bandleader dates back to 2006, when Jérôme joined Benjamin's trio, which is still active today. Two decades of close collaboration has made them trusted colleagues who intuitively complement each other.
