Clara Haskil is acknowledged as a great Mozart pianist (see albums 1 to 3), but she also left a significant legacy in her interpretation of works by Beethoven, Brahms, Schubert and Schumann. Her favorite duet partners were Pau Casals, George Enescu, Géza Anda and especially Arthur Grumiaux, with whom she recorded all of Beethoven’s violin sonatas.
