She made her debut at 24 as Azucena in Il trovatore, 11 September 1952, at the Royal Stockholm Opera. A long-time member of the Royal Swedish Opera and Hamburg State Opera, she appeared regularly at the Royal Opera House in London and international opera houses and festivals. She died at the age of 92 in April 2020. The present release is a showcase of performances recorded between 1956 and 1980, during the peak of her career.  Price: $45.98 |
