She started playing the piano from the age of three with her mother until she was seven; from the age of seven with her father, pianist Prof. Karl-Heinz Schlueter. She studied piano at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg (artistic diploma with grade 1, master class diploma concert subject piano) with Prof. Bernd Glemser, and before that piano at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln with Prof. Nina Tichman.
