In 1952 Carl Seemann began recording for Deutsche Grammophon, with whom he remained for most of his career. Over the years, he recorded many acclaimed albums for the Yellow Label, notably Beethoven's complete sonatas for piano and violin with Wolfgang Schneiderhan, or his Mozart solo and orchestral recordings. This edition, released 40 years (in 2023) after Carl Seemann's death, brings together for the first time his complete recordings on 25 CDs and one Blu-ray audio disc. The 84-page booklet includes essays by Carsten Dürer, Joachim Kaiser and Norbert Hornig

"The sheer veracity (of Seemann's readings) is now clear from his recorded legacy." (Joachim Kaiser) "As perfect an ensemble as one could wish for in this world ... (Seemann and Schneiderhan), each with Mozart's style at their fingertips." (Gramophone)
