"Unreleased Art, Vol. 9: Art Pepper & Warne Marsh At Donte's, April 26, 1974" features a set with Art as leader and pianist Mark Levine, bassist John Heard, drummer Lew Malin and tenor saxophonist Warne Marsh - who was filling in for Jack Sheldon that night Recorded at the legendary club Donte's in Los Angeles, the set includes jazz standards by Thelonious Monk, Count Basie, Charlie Parker and Ray Noble, as well as tracks by Oscar Hammerstein III, Jerome Kern and Harold Arlen.
