When Bullet Records folded in 1953, the company lay dormant until 1959 when former owners Jim Bulliet and Red Wortham resurrected it. They initially released only R&B and Country & Western records, but by the early 1960s were releasing both Gospel quartets and Bluegrass Spiritual records. One of the first Gospel quartet records they released was "Wherever There's A Will There's A Way" b/w "We Need Jesus" by The Dixie Travelers, and these may very well be the group's first recordings. It's a great traditional sounding record in any case, and we're also featuring two previously unreleased tracks on this CD.
