In the 2019–20 season, tenor Azer Zada made his debut in Cavalleria Rusticana /Pagliacci at Ravenna Festival, under the baton of maestro Riccardo Muti. He has alsosung leading roles under conductors Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Chailly, Nello Santi and Myung-Whun Chung. The Baku-born tenor has been awarded numerous prizes in competitions such as Concorso Lirico Internazionale di Portofino and First Prize in Concorso Voci Verdiane.
