The theme of this production is the Dutch and Italian music of the time of the great painter Jan Vermeer (1632-1675). The recording, which was first made as an exclusive album for a Vermeer exhibition in 2014 in the Palazzo Fava in Bologna, brought together outstanding musician friends, including the baroque violinist Jaap Schroder, who died in 2020.
