She was only eight when she first took lessons from celebrated professors. She studied at the colleges of music (MHS) in Karlsruhe (as a junior student), Stuttgart and Würzburg and attended numerous master classes. Her teachers include such leading figures as Bernd Glemser, Sontraud Speidel, Friedemann Rieger, Kristian Bezuidenhout, the duo Hans-Peter and Volker Stenzl, and Arnulf von Arnim.
