Com In 1934, a 17‐year old singer named Ella Fitzgerald took the stage at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem during Amateur Night and took home first prize, launching an extraordinary career which spanned over decades and crowned her "The First Lady of Song." The new release Ella 100: Live at the Apollo! was recorded during live tribute concert at the Apollo, honoring Ella Fitzgerald's 100 birthday and commemorating the discovery of her talent. Featuring vocalists Patti Austin with David Alan Grier, Lizz Wright, Cassandra Wilson, Ledisi, Monica Mancini.
