The three composers, Carlo Munier, Enrico Marucelli and Luigi Mozzani were leading figures of the Italian scene between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries both as virtuous and multi-instrumental mandolinists, teachers, directors or members of famous plectrum ensembles.
