It's Christmas Time In New Orleans! This release features traditional American Jazz & Christmas Songs, arranged and interpreted in concert by the German New Orleans Jazz Band of Cologne. The band writes: “Our band can look back on more than 60 years of band history, mostly as "Maryland Jazz Band of Cologne". At the request of our bandleader Doggy Hund, who died in the autumn of 2015, we changed our name and proudly present ourselves as the "New Orleans Jazz Band of Cologne" since the beginning of 2016. The band's cast has changed from time to time, but the musical concept of cultivating traditional and authentic New Orleans jazz has always been in focus.
