The album opens with Songs, Op. 8 by Fanny Mendelssohn, a talented composer and pianist, older sister of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. The following compositions are two fragments from the cycle Soirées Musicales, Op. 6 by Clara Schumann, showing the talent of the composer on the basis of musical genres representative of the Romantic era.
