It got better from there; the stellar work of Brian Tyler and John Carey is evidenced in every cue of this film, granting our little genre movie with titanic size and sweep—   From the thematic melodies blended with synthesized soundscapes and environmental sounds, the merging of practical sounds with musical tonalities and the use of mechanical sounds like ticking clocks, alarms, gears, pistons and power tools with analog vintage keyboards... this incredibly visceral and wholly unique score is the final character of the piece. There is a lot of experimentation here: an unholy mashup of vintage keyboards contrasted with the melodic grand piano, at times human and filled with emotion, juxtaposed with the relentless power and magnitude of the Minos Organization. They turned the process on its head, sometimes slowing down sounds, distorted through pitch changes or even running them through guitar amps or played backwards....      The result is a genre-bending soundscape that is both human and machine, aspirational and terrifying.... seemingly written by the Puzzle-maker itself, it locks us up and throws away the key. Bravo!”ABOUT THE COMPOSERBrian Tyler is a composer and conductor of over 70 films and was named Film Composer of the Year at the 2014 Cue Awards.  Tyler composed blockbuster hits “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Furious 7,” “Iron Man 3,” and “Thor: The Dark World.” He conducted the London Philharmonic, the Philharmonia of London, and the Hollywood Studio Symphony for those films. He also scored “Eagle Eye” for producer Steven Spielberg, and the recent “Fate of the Furious” which had the biggest global box office opening of all time.  He was nominated for a 2014 BAFTA Award and was inducted into the music branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2010.
