The Marching Chiefs consists of 420 young men and women from virtually every discipline and major available at Florida State University. In addition to providing pregame and halftime pageantry for Seminole home football games, they regularly travel to away games and an annual post season bowl game. The Chiefs are also featured each fall as part of the exciting Tri-State Festival PRISM Concerts. The 2017 season began with a televised game in the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium against Alabama. The halftime show included a salute to the host city of Atlanta with Georgia-themed classics. They opened the home game series against NC State with a patriotic show saluting veterans everywhere with swing tunes from the WWII era. For Parent’s Weekend, they presented the magical music of Walt Disney. During the Louisville game, they performed a tribute to the Harry Potter book and film series with inspiring melodies by John Williams. The season ended with a victory over Southern Mississippi in the Independence Bowl. These recordings are sure to bring back each of these fond memories.
