The Piano Duo Shtereva and Simeonova were founded in 1997. Since their inception, the duo has strived to continuously expand and enrich its repertoire. At their concerts they perform both popular works for piano duo as well as new works, some composed expressly for them. They have received numerous awards from prestigious festivals and competitions and have performed under the baton of distinguished conductors. Both Desislava Shtereva and Evgenia Simeonova teach at the National Academy of Music “Prof. Pancho Vladigerov.” They also organize master classes, make recordings, and study the works of composers who wrote for piano duo.
