This outstanding new release is a potpourri of live recordings made on stages in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, and Buenos Aires. Argentinean pianist Zaida Saiace is joined on these stages by an all-star cast of musicians, including guitarist Edgardo Cardozo, bassist Fernando Galimany, and more. The repertoire chosen for this album is largely pianistic, and ranges from traditional tango to the tango in it’s modern form, as well as works by genre-bending composers such as Astor Piazzolla and Egberto Gismonti.
