Fricker’s compositional catalogue exceeds 160 works, and includes all genres except for staged opera. The Vision of Judgement performance presented here is conducted by Charles Groves, and features the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. It was broadcast on BBC on October 14, 1980. Symphony No. 5 for organ and orchestra features Gillian Weir on organ, as well as the BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by Colin Davis.
