Known as an accomplished Lieder singer, celebrated Dutch soprano Elly Ameling’s career spanned 40 years; her many recordings receiving many awards in their time, including the Grand Prix du Disque and Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik. This all-Schubert release features an historic 1987 live recording made at the famous Tanglewood Center in Massachusetts, and features the accompaniment of pianist Rudolf Jansen.
