A 50 CD Original Jackets Collection celebrating the greatest Baroque recordings from Decca’s pioneering early music label L’Oiseau-Lyre. This is the first of three 50-CD cubes.
Key Baroque works featured include best-selling albums such as Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Handel’s Messiah and Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos. Not only does the new Baroque collection showcase some of L’Oiseau-Lyre’s early triumphs. It also includes more recent releases, such as Il pianto di Maria with Il Giardino Armonico under Giovanni Antonini in 2009.
