Irish-born pianist and composer Philip Martin has become famous for his interpretations of American and British jazz and ragtime music. He is a well-known figure in concert halls in the UK, Europe, and the U.S., where he has held residencies at various American universities and been a guest of the Tanglewood and Aspen Music Festivals.
