Blues harmonica player Jean-Jacques Milteau has travelled many different roads in both the geographical and musical sense of the term. From China to South Africa, from Nashville to New Orleans, from Ireland to Mexico, he is a musician whose curiosity knows no bounds. He welcomes new acquaintances and is always ready for any musical experience that might cross his path. In 1973, Milteau released his first recording for Le Chant du Monde, as part of the label's "Special Instrumental" collection. The label also released Blues Harp in 1980 and Just Kiddin' in 1983. This double album retraces those first recordings and explores how Milteau subsequently became a blues legend and a worldwide ambassador of the blues harmonica.
