Schutz: Histoire De La Resurrection (haller)

After two acclaimed recordings of the motets, La Chapelle Rhénane now tackle two large-scale works by Schütz. These oratorios, like the Symphoniae Sacrae, combine both the new style imported from Italy and the spirit of Lutheranism, scored for 10 singers, 6 viols and a rich continuo section, under the direction of Benoît Haller.
