A film by Gerard Caillat, PASSION CALLAS examines both the professional and personal life of opera singer extraordinaire Maria Callas. Packed with interviews and rare material, the documentary features revealing conversations with Elvira de Hidalgo (Callas's teacher) and Michel Glotz, the producer behind many of the singer's recordings. Most valuable of all are the interviews in which Callas herself talks about her youth, her singing career, her struggles with her health, the Metropolitan Opera, and much more.
