For obvious reasons of historical clarity and also to keep some contrasts that would stimulate listeners or reveal especially surprising pleasures, we've followed the chronological order of the recordings as closely as possible, even if it's meant changing the position of pieces that are the result of several sessions.
We've also restored the sound of many of these documents by eliminating some parasite crackling on certain 78s and vinyl discs (as far as we could), without altering the original signal.
