Guitarist, composer, vocalist Joel Harrison has one of the most unpredictable, fascinating discographies in contemporary music. He has developed a singular, lyrical voice through immersion in jazz, modern classical, world traditions, and American roots music. His rejection of stylistic boundaries has led him to freely wander wherever inspiration is found, from inner city blues bars to the finest concert halls. Harrison has received a number of commissions in recognition of his composing and arranging skills from Meet the Composer, the Flagler Cary Trust, NYSCA, Chamber Music America, and the Jerome Foundation. He graduated from Bard College with a degree in composition in 1980, studying with Joan Tower. He went on to study privately with numerous composers and improvisers, including Ali Akbar Khan, Abubakari Lunna, William Mathieu, and Charlie Banacos. Harrison is a four- time MacDowell Colony fellow and was named a Guggenheim Fellow in 2010.

Avery Fisher Career Grant-winning violinist Tim Fain was selected as one of Symphony magazine's featured "Up-and-Coming" young musicians, and was a Strad magazine "Pick of Up and Coming Musicians," and was heard as the sound of Richard Gere's violin in Fox Searchlight's feature film Bee Season. Recipient of the Young Concert Artists International Award, he recently made his Baltimore Symphony debut, with Marin Alsop conducting, appeared as soloist in Einstein on the Beach with the Philip Glass Ensemble at Carnegie Hall, and has played with many of the top international orchestras.

Wendy Sutter is one of the leading cellists of her generation having performed with many leading international ensembles and festivals, including touring with Mikhail Baryshnikov playing Bach's cello suites. Sutter also toured extensively as soloist with Tan Dun at the podium performing his works "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" Concerto, "The Map" concerto and as soloist in Tan's "Water Passion." Among Sutter's more recent projects, "Songs and Poems for Solo Cello" and "Double Concerto for Violin and Cello" composed for her by Philip Glass.
