The Turning Year allows the listener to look through Roger Eno's mirror, filled with glimpses of pastoral scenes and free-flowing, touching compositions. The pieces are exquisitely rendered by Eno as pianist, and on several tracks he is joined by the acclaimed German string ensemble Scoring Berlin.
