Peter Gregson, renowned composer, cellist and Deutsche Grammophon artist, presents his fifth studio album, Patina. Gregson has long been fascinated by the impact of finitude and absence on life, and by attempting to translate these powerful non-issues into his music. With his new studio album, he confronts himself and the listener with the question: what happens when you remove the melody?
