The present release features a program devoted to three essential sonatas of the French violin school of the first part of the twentieth century. This is the second release from Tatiana Samouil with Indesens Records. Tatiana Samouil was born in St. Petersburg. She took up the violin at the age of six and made her solo debut with the orchestra three years later. Tatiana graduated from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Royal Conservatory of Brussels and Madrid’s Queen Sofia College of Music. Tatiana Samouil is a prize-winner of the world’s most prestigious competitions: Tchaikovsky, Queen Elizabeth, Jean Sibelius, as well as numerous prizes at the Michael Hill. She has performed with many orchestras, and her numerous recordings have received excellent reviews. She is joined here by pianist David Lively, who is also an exceptionally gifted artist.
