Works on this recording (Horn Concerto, Violin Concerto Nr 4 and Rock Score) have all been recorded before, but are now updated to super audio sound with new soloists on ALBA records. The three works were composed between 1994 and 1997. In the beginning, Nordgren wrote most of his solo concertos in several separate movements. Later on, he preferred the one-movement form.
