Ryan Gardner and Louise Ellis Woodson perform beautiful works from a myriad of great composers including Debussy, Arban, de Falla, Rameau, Bach, Presser, Bernstein, Schubert, and Schuman. This release also features the world premiere recording of Katherine Saxon’s ‘Alba.’ Dr. Ryan Gardner, Associate Professor of Trumpet at Oklahoma State University, received his B.M. from Eastman School of Music with highest distinction, his M.M. from Rice University, and his D.M.A. from Manhattan School of Music. He performs, teaches, and provides master classes and lectures internationally and across the U.S. Dr. Louisa Ellis Woodson has been playing harp since age nine. In May 2008 she received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Manhattan School of Music in New York. She also holds B.M. and M.M. degrees from Indiana University. Dr. Woodson has served on the faculty at Baylor University and Indiana University Southeast, as well as the Young Artists’ Harp Seminar. She currently lives in her hometown of Louisville, KY where she is pursuing a Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
