The harmonia mundi label is proud to announce their first vinyl release in over three decades. It features the label's star conductor René Jacobs leading a revelatory performance of Mozart's beloved Requiem in a recording produced in all-analog sound especially for this LP. It is also special in that it features a recently penned completion of the famously unfinished work. Instead of the familiar Franz Xaver Süssmayr version, Jacobs has opted to use an acclaimed new completion by young French composer Pierre-Henri Dutron. This release is it's world premiére studio recording, featuring a stellar group of soloists, the RIAS Kammerchor and the Freiburger Barockorchester.
