This is shown in the work of Swiss-German trio Kimmig-Studer-Zimmerlin: Harald Kimming, Daniel Studer and Alfred Zimmerlin. On this recording, the instrumental impulse is exuberantly expressed, in what Studer prefers to call 'improvisation without any prefixed compositional tool'.
