Tim was born in a trailer park in Florida, 1955. At 15 he was playing at biker bars around the state, moving to New York at 17. In 1989 he formed the legendary group The Havalinas together with Smutty Smiff and Chalo Quitana – signing with Elektra and touring the USA, opening for Bob Dylan, Chis Isaak and many others.
