The outstanding lyrical folk singer Leonardo Pastore tries in this album to recreate the "Gardel Original Sound", singing his songs as they were arranged and originally performed nowdays, capturing for the first time in 80 years all the musical subtle essence that characterized one of the most representative artists of all times. With a unique and extensive work, Lucio Bruno Videla and Hernán Malagoli made the faithful reconstruction of the original arrangements of violinist and arranger Terig Tucci, who was responsible for the musical direction in the last recordings of Gardel. Pablo Alessia was responsible for the arrangements in the guitar versions. This release is a nominee for “Best Album of Tango” for the 2016 Latin Grammy Awards.
