Pujol, Máximo Diego

Argentine classical guitarist and composer Maximo Diego Pujol studied at the Juan Jose Castro Provincial Conservatory. He has been awarded numerous awards in both Argentinian and international competitions. His compositions reflect the influence of Astor Piazzolla, and frequently use tango as a basic style. For this new release, Pujol has chosen Argentinean folk music, with the final two pieces being original works. Of this project, Pujol writes: “This work is my tribute to that wonderful universe that is the Argentina’s tradition in the guitar.
