The Cochran Chamber Commissioning Project was formed by Jim Cochran, one of the world's foremost authorities on wind band and wind chamber music literature. The project runs on a strong desire to contribute significant new repertoire, particularly for schools where ensembles are challenged by instrumentation numbers or financially. The Atlantic Chamber Winds was founded in 2011 by conductor Russell McCutcheon. Their flexible instrumentation allows them to perform a variety of chamber wind repertoire.
