Keith Richards - Crosseyed Heart

For his long-awaited third solo album -- it's been no shorter than 23 years since the last one, 1992's Main Offender -- Keith Richards decided to once again play with his backing band the X-Pensive Winos. This crackerjack outfit featuring guitarist Waddy Wachtel, drummer Steve Jordan, keyboardist Ivan Neville, and backing vocalists Sarah Dash and Bernard Fowler, work their way through 14 originals by Richards and Jordan. There's also a cover of Lead Belly's folk standard "Goodnight Irene," Norah Jones comes in for a duet on "Illusion," and "Trouble," the first single, shows the band in fine form.
