This release is undeniably a homage to the distinctive musical characterization of American themes in a passionate, modern style. The Oregon Symphony, established more than 100 years ago, has been recognized for its internationally acclaimed music directors, skilled performers and diverse programs. It ranks among the largest orchestras in the USA and is one of the largest arts organizations in the Northwest. As with their two previously released Pentatone titles, the orchestra is led once again by its chief conductor, artistic and music director Carlos Kalmar.
