Yuri Temirkanov Conducts Rachmaninov & Rimsky-kors

In its fourth edition, the Annecy Classic Festival (France) has become a major player in the national and international cultural landscape. In residence at the 2013 festival, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic closed the festivities and joined forces with Yuri Temirkanov, its iconic conductor. Mr. Temirkanov conducted the orchestra in performances of Rimsky-Korsakov's lush Sheherazade, Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances and, with pianist Denis Matsuev, Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2.
