Byron Janis plays the First Piano Concerto, Shura Cherkassky the Second, and Michael Ponti the Taneyev reconstruction of the Third Concerto. The Moscow Trio perform the Piano Trio, Gennady Rozhdestvensky conducts The Oprichnik and Cherevichki, and Ilya Grubert and Aaron Rosand can be heard in the Violin Concerto.
