Praga's second SACD anthology of historic recordings of music by Manuel de Falla includes a diverse selection of works performed by a wealth of star performers. The lead work on the disc is the complete ballet El Amor Brujo performed by Eugene Ansermet and the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. Also included are solo works with pianist Alicia de Larrocha, songs with soprano Victoria de los Angeles and a harpsichord concerto featuring Robert Veyron-Lacroix. Part of the label's Reminiscences series, these recordings from the late 1950s and early 1960s have been carefully remastered for Super Audio from stereo and bi-channel originals.
