Her reading of the Sonata is powerful and rhythmically vital, the Suite colorful and vibrant and the Allegro Barbaro uncompromising in its power. The disc also includes a selection of pieces from Mikrokosmos and For Children. In these latter pieces, one can appreciate her innate feeling for the (musical) language of the Hungarian children's songs and nursery rhymes.
