The famed Cuarteto Cedrón, legends of Argentinean music and as synonymous with tango as the better-known Astor Piazzolla, offer an intriguing 'double' album, with each one focusing on a different poetic outlook. The fourteen tracks of the album's first section, entitled Corazón de piel afuera, are dedicated to music set to eleven texts by Miguel Ãngel Bustos. The second section, entitled Godino, consists of twelve new songs by Cuartero Cedrón on texts by Raúl González Tuñón, Luis Alposta, Evaristo Carriego, Francisco Urondo, the Spanish poet Pedro Atienza, Julio Huasi, David Ãlvarez Morgade and an anonymous poem, plus an fascinating cover of the bolero "Somos" by Mario Clavel. |
